The alarm clock rang already before 4.00am. No usual, but at the same time no unusual time to rise for an interior architecture photographer. Often enough, exhibition stands have to be shot in the middle of the night before visitors can photobomb the pictures. Same here.
Having placed several assignments – mainly in the field of construction progress photography – our client, the company Uzin Utz AG, had a very gratifying job for us: Shooting the newly-opened BrotHaus branch in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
This branch is located in a converted and refurbished slaughterhouse. Therefore, many antique interior decoration items were used and our client provided the construction materials for the installation of the antique (and genuine) parquet floor.
So, our shooting started before the opening of the branch knowing that time is of the essence and we have a maximum of 1.5 hours at “free” disposal.
The result: wonderful interior architecture photographs true to detail. We were entitled to publish a small selection on our website.
Happy photographer – happy client. That’s the way things should be. We gladly rise early for that.
