Exhibition stand at Fensterbau Frontale

Photographs of an exhibition stand at Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg as reference project

A client constructing exhibition stands booked us for a shooting at this year’s Fensterbau Frontale – a trade fair where we have shot several times in the past few years.

Before the opening of the trade fair, we already started shooting shortly after 8.00am. The end client had a completely new stand construction this year, which was planned to serve as reference object for the trade fair constructor.

Generally speaking, assignments as trade-fair photographers are always exciting. There are so many factors affecting our work that should be meticulously planned in the run-up whereever possible. This is aggravated by the fact that every trade-fair organiser has own rules and requirements making professional work on site harder at times.

Yet, it is exciting for us as we constantly have to accommodate changing client demands. Some of them – as was the case here – just want photographs of the exhibition stand. Other clients would like to capture the trade-fair spirit. Others want to have their products photographed at the trade fair (which is not really easy considering the many different light sources) or capture their own employees interacting with their clients. We were also asked to take portrait photos at trade fairs, where employees from around the world only travelled to this special event in Nuremberg. Oftentimes, we also shoot trade-fair events or parties to wrap up the day.

No matter how demands may differ, we are very glad to have NürnbergMesse right here. Every year, the number of assignments as trade-fair photographers rather grows than to decline. We shoot with a lot of fun and motivation – if it wasn’t for the early start ;-)
