A special goal for the Ice Tigers
Puck in the goal and the scorer still in the air – now if that’s not a special shot
As we have taken photos for the team at every home game of THOMAS SABO Ice Tigers, we have plenty of footage and goal shots. However, we have never had such an exceptional shot in the four years that we have worked together.
Patrick Reimer, captain of the Ice Tigers, scored his 268th DEL goal in the last period against the Straubing Tigers. He went it alone, “tripped” over the opponent goaltender’s glove, played around him, and when the puck was finally behind the goal line, the captain was “floating” in the air!
Hopefully, it will not take us another four years to be thrilled about such an extraordinary photo again ;-)
